Senator Elizabeth Warren spoke on the Senate floor on the eve of the signing Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement by the 12 countries member countries in Auckland today urging the Congress to reject it.
She said the pact would “tilt the playing field even more in favour of the big multinationals and against working families”.
Senator Warren (D-Mass.), the most vocal critic of the TPPA in Congress, issued a report last year detailing decades of failed trade enforcement by American presidents, including Barack Obama, as part of an ongoing public feud between Warren and Obama over the partnership.
