Minister Ralph Regenvanu, I applaud your integrity on West Papua, but please be more direct with your criticism and your activism – criticism for Vanuatu, MSG and ULMWP. There is so much that needs attending to. ULMWP are non-inclusive and misrepresentative of the war of liberation. It is almost like they only want to have a humanitarian focus and nothing else. IT IS A WAR OF LIBERATION! Indonesia loves the singular focus on humanitarian issues – in fact, Jakarta strategically allows this singular focus – the strategy of apearances without any notion of sovereignty and without any deliberations by Jakarta to allow UN access. This has been going on for decades. OPM-TPNPB, is the past, present, and future of West Papua’s war of liveration. But you already know this. You also know that MSG has been corrupted since the very first year Indonesia was admitted as associate member. What I am most surprised about is that your various electorates allow MSG corruption to be just as unaccountable as is Indonesia’s crimes against humanity. Put aside your sadness – an act of NO CONFIDENCE begins with a resignation declaring the Vanuatu government and every MSG nation as morally and ethically bankrupt as Indonesia. Every nation’s election to be one issue – West Papua! – where there are at least 500,000 victims. Every week more victims! Create the leadership and the backbone your “Melanesian” nation needs. Walk the talk! Kick Indonesia out of every inch of Melanesia and Free West Papua.
