Excellent analysis from Mr Asafo, as usual.
I totally agree with the three comments above.
Hoping he'll come to Samoa one day soon. He could help us organize a law school, much needed here.

I wish This summation was filed with the Court of Appeals before arguments were heard and a decision rendered. This comprehensive and well thought argument was definitely missed by the FAST lawyers. There is a true need for expert lawyers in Constitutional matters.
Thank you Mr Harvard man, Asafo. Samoa needs your intellect, higher learning and training in the subject of law.

I agree. Surely this decision was peered pressure into trying to satisfy both sides given the debacle HRPP+HOS+EOC has caused the Country, not realising that this has undermined the greatest historical human rights win for the first ever female elected PM in the Country and the Pacific, and more importantly-contradicting the constitutional itself! I thought for a moment that the CA decision on the 6th woman sitting is NOT their responsibility and a complete breach of the 'separation of powers'. Very Contradictory decision! Very interesting read.
