Yeah, they’ve lost the right to be running COVID testing & border control, I think Labour should take charge of it. Why on earth was National in charge of this in the first place?

Pretty sure Jacinda did just that when she allowed, and was actively responsible for legislative changes which circumvented the polices ability to do the vetting they have always done since 1983, resulting in 51 people dead.. And the result was political leverage. Shame it didn't last.

National are willing to do what ever it takes, scary to think that they would put New Zealanders lives on the line in an attempt to gain leverage, what else are they capable of and to what scale are they willing to go. Why can’t Bishop give us chapter and verse on what he said-exact words? Leaning on quarantine officials in this way, when the 2 UK women were NOT his constituents (a lie), and he was doing this as a favour for his mate in the UK, is NOT doing his job as an MP. Did he ask for the 2 women to be tested before they were released, and if not why not? We should be told.

Do you mean smoking mirrors. I think you are trying to say National are playing dirty I don’t see it that way looks like Bishop followed the rule book. Labour perhaps should look at doing less spin and more checking on important issues who is being hired to enforce regulations at quarantine hotels, they don’t look too professional to me.
