					<description><![CDATA[This article does not explain why a Media Freedom Act is preferable to a Charter of Rights or a Bill of Rights for all citizens that can include commitments to media freedoms. I think that there would be a great chance of getting strong public support if that was the case. I also feel rather uneasy about the reference here to &#039;legitimate&#039; journalism and the &#039;business of reporting&#039;. I would not have an issue with the practice of journalism but the &#039;business&#039; implies that there has to be an organisation or even financil basis. My practice of journalism is a fairly solitary voluntary affair these days but it is nevertheless, very much journalism. 
These questions need to be answered by the authors before journalists and citiznes put their faith in this suggestion.]]></description>
