Organisers were delighted with the success of the first of three national Ethnic Communities Engagement summit in Auckland on Saturday – and the role of the New Zealand mainstream media was in the spotlight.
The summit was organised to create a platform for better understanding and engagement, and celebrate the role of many cultural groups in New Zealand society; build a sense of unity among other ethnic people; and to explore how they can contribute and add value to the community and the nation.
Asia Pacific Report was at the summit and this photogallery by the Pacific Media Centre’s Del Abcede features the diverse nature of the summit.
